The project consisted of installing a new traffic signal to facilitate access to the Hawk Pointe Community, which encompasses residential, retail, and golf facilities along New Jersey State Highway Route 31. It also involved the realignment and widening of both Route 31 and South Lincoln Avenue (County Route 640).
