Hawk Pointe Golf Club is undertaking an impressive civil site project as part of its commitment to green initiatives. The project involves the installation of nearly 2.7 MW of solar panels, which have received approval and are currently under construction on the property. In the initial phase of installation, the golf club will meet its annual power requirements of approximately 0.6 MW through solar energy. The surplus power generated by the solar array will be distributed through virtual metering to the surrounding residential and commercial sections of the Hawk Pointe Planned Village Community. This forward-thinking project not only enables the golf club to meet its energy needs sustainably but also promotes renewable energy usage in the wider community, contributing to a cleaner and greener future.
